Our deepest sympathy to all of those who Charlie left behind, be they friends, acquaintances or relatives. Charlie was a kind and gentle soul who had wisdom that people often missed if they weren't paying close attention. He worked with the Skokuts on their farm in the Monongahela area for many years, in the later years becoming my Uncle Nick's constant companion until Nick's passing in 2011. And then my cousin Adam Skokut took Charlie in and kindly provided him a home until now. Charlie's in essence became an honorary member of the Skokut family. Charlie's kindness and honesty along with his willingness to work hard at the roughest tasks will be appreciated for a long time. Rest in the Peace of Jesus Christ, Charlie; and may Perpetual Light shine upon you.
