Lydia Elizabeth Bruno of Charleroi, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday December 10, 2025 at Jefferson Hospital. She was born in Monessen on May 3, 1937, a daughter of Ernest and Elizabeth Bachovchin Wisyanski.
At the beginning of Lydia's career she had been a sales rep for Luger Meats, Vicks, Playtex, Pepsi -Cola. She retired from Procter & Gamble where she was one of the first women to work as a sales rep. for the company.
Lydia was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church Charleroi Campus. She volunteered at St. Vincent DePaul and was a member of the Charleroi Golden Agers. Lydia was an avid reader and enjoyed her cats Sadie and Guliver.
She is survived by her husband Joseph Bruno, brother-in-law and sister-in-law John and Denise Bruno, sister-in-law Debbie Wisyanki, niece Elsa Sauritch (Patrick), nephews; John Bruno (Leigh), D. Joseph Bruno (Jodi), great nieces and nephews Milonna and Michaelina Sauritch, Kirstie Zuraw (Brandon), Anthony and Gio Bruno and a great-great nephew Barrett Stark.
Lydia is preceded in death by her daughter Kimberly Hollowitz, a son Alan Hollowitz. brother James "Jimmy" Wisyanski, and 2 sisters; Magdelin "Maggie" Franceschi and Sandy O'Dell.
Lydia will be missed by her family and many friends. As per her wishes, there will be no viewing. A memorial will be at a later date.
Memorials for Lydia may be made to the Washington Co. Humane Society or any pet adoption agency of one's choice.
