Mary Weckoski 94 of Coal Center passed away on Wednesday March 15, 2023 at Dunlevy Gardens. Born on October 27, 1928 in Bentleyville, a daughter of Thomas and Anna Kois Padovich Sr.. Mary was the last of her immediate family.

On October 4, 1947 she married Albert Weckoski who passed away in 2016 and together they shared 69 years of marriage. Mary enjoyed gardening, making many varieties of cookies during the Christmas season, and was very skilled in sewing. She also was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Mary is survived by 3 daughters; Linda (Stephen) Crow of Overland Park, Kansas, Joyce (Gus) Illar of Austin, Texas and Emily Rhoads of Charleroi, 3 grandchildren Lindsey (Jay) Holbert, Stephanie (John) Carter and Monica (Steve) Adams, and 3 great-grandchildren; Chase Holbert, Sophie Carter and Emma Holbert.

Besides her husband, Mary was also preceded in death by 4 brothers; Nick, George, Thomas and Frank Padovich and a sister Anna Krencik.

Per Mary’s wishes there will be no visitation or services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Leonard M. Pavlic Funeral Homes, Inc. 235 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi.
