Patricia Mouyard

Patricia Mouyard 88 of Charleroi, died Sunday September 17, 2017 at The Residence at Hilltop, Carroll Twp.. Born in Charleroi on Auguast 7, 1929 a daughter of Arthur Joseph and Ellen Sheilds Mouyard. Pat as she was lovingly called, was the last surviving of her immediate family. She was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi and very active in her parish life. Pat was a graduate of the Mercy School of Nursing in Pittsburgh where she worked for a time as a registered nurse. She entered into the Air Force as a Captain on April 10, 1954 and was stationed in the state of California during the Korean War. She was honorably discharged on April 9, 1958 and the entered the US Air Force Reserves until her Honorable Discharge on July 6, 1972. She retired from nursing from Monongahela Valley Hospital with over 30 years of employment. Her endearing smile, infectious laugh and quick wit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pat is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great, great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews, and all the staff at the Residence at Hilltop. She is preceded in death by 4 brothers; Joseph, Arthur, James and Daniel Mouyard, 3 sisters; Madonna MacDonald, Helen Norelli and Sarah DeiCas and by her very good friend Ann Myers. The family would like to thank the hospice crew from Amedisys for their wonderful care.

There will be no public visitation. Family and friends as asked to gather at 12:30pm on Saturday September 23, 2017 at Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Rev. Gerald Mikonis as celebrant. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery Carroll Twp. Military Honors will be accorded by the United States Air Force Honor Guard and the Mon Valley Honor Guard.
