Shirley Ann "Gram" Fonner

May 4, 1937 — March 4, 2017

Shirley Ann "Gram" Fonner, 79, of Scenery Hill, went to her Heavenly Father as she passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday March 4, 2017. She was born May 4, 1937, in Scenery Hill, daughter of the late Merle "Pop" and Anna Jacquillard Rager. She was a graduate of Ellsworth High School and a member of the Scenery Hill United Methodist Church. She married Earl Jack Fonner on September 15, 1955. She had a passionate love for God, church, her family, gardening, and flowers.  

Shirley is survived by 5 daughters and sons-in-law; Cindy (Jack) Cramer of Bentleyville, Jackie Gibson of Scenery Hill, Sally (Rod) Morrison of Bentleyville, Missy (Dan) Marchitello of Bentleyville, and Leanna Hustava (Leonard Johns) of Scenery Hill; 12 grandchildren, Leaeryn Moore, Josh Barker, Kristen Rockey, Lindsey Bertin, Samantha Morrison, Kylie Wallach, Jessica Cramer, Sara Morrison, Mackenzie Marchitello, Parker Morrison, Hannah Hustava, & Leyton Hustava; 9 great-grandchildren, Noah & Avery Barker, Jordan, Emma, & Aiden Bertin, Harli Cramer, Calli Marchitello, Mila Moore, and Jordyn & JR Rockey. Shirley is also survived by her sister Doris "Sis" Gray of Vermilion Ohio, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers John & George Rager, sister Charlotte Francis, and son-in-law David Gibson.  

A memorial service will be held at the Scenery Hill United Methodist Church on Sunday March 19, at 2 pm. Arrangements are entrusted to the Leonard M. Pavlic Funeral Homes, Inc. 405 Main St. Bentleyville. Online condolences can be made at www.pavlicfuneralhomes.com
