Walter L. Kadash Jr.

Vietnam Veteran
On Friday the 13, 2020 Walter L. Kadash Jr., son of late Larry and Elizabeth (Betta) Kadash, passed peacefully surrounded by his family. Walter served in the United States Air Force, as a State Trooper, worked in the coal mine and most importantly was a father. His generosity and humor touched many. Walter is survived by his sister Dayna Kadash, his son Jason kadash (Jennifer his wife), Amanda Kadash his daughter,  nephews and nieces. Grandchildren include Dimiah Che Kadash, Xander Law Kadash, Maxamus Judah Kadash and Liam Kadash. Walter (Hammer) Kadash also had the love of his friends with special mention to Billy and Denny Watkins, Greg Spridik , Paul Maczuzak along with Ren Bumpass and Brooks Harrington. As family, we ask you to remember the joys of Larry Jr./Knuckle/Hammer/Dad..... spread them with vivid memories of the laughter he brought to all of us. Funeral services are private.

Larry Kadash not only was my husband's dad but what a great friend to a daughter in law anyone could ever ask for... The entire family loves to hear all the good things you have posted and are thankful and grateful for sharing ... he loved his kids and grandkids and was raised tough yet loving of everyone ... most of his occupations in life were always putting him in a serious and mostly authoritative position but he maintained respect to me always and for that I am grateful forever ...sometimes the best gift you can give someone is your kindness and your time ... nobody including myself is perfect and I always "assumed " he'd be here yet he even maintained his pain and cancer concealed to himself ... I respect that immensely but wish I had time to say more before he passed...

Grew up with Larry Jr aka hammerhead in A-row, we were all neighbors (the Kadashs & Kvarteks), lots of good memories of our childhood! May you Rest In Peace!

Larry wasn't my neighbor long, but he would visit when we were out at the pool. He even bought a bull horn, so he could yell hello down to my autistic son, John. He had a very special place in his heart for autistic kids. He once told me, "autistic people are the only people who are truly free of sin". Larry was a very special person, and a great neighbor. May he be blessed, and his family and friends be comforted.
